Steady for coaches · tutors & micro-centres
You get one hour a week. The math happens in the other 167.
Your student nails factorising on Tuesday. By next Tuesday it’s gone — and you spend twenty paid minutes finding that out. Steady practises with them between sessions, and shows you exactly what held.
First ten coaches free · up to 10 students · S$39 a month after that
Coach view
Week of 13 Jul
The dashboard before Tuesday’s session: who practised, what got fixed, where to spend the hour.
The problem
Between sessions, you’re blind
You mark, you explain, they nod. Then six days pass in which you see nothing. The homework you set gets done at 11pm the night before — one guilty burst, the exact opposite of the spaced practice that would make your explanation stick.
So every session starts with archaeology: re-testing last week to find out what survived. That’s your time, billed to the parent, and it’s the least useful thing you do all week.
The mechanics
What the Coach plan does
-
Photograph the marked paper
After the session, upload the paper you just marked — thirty seconds. Steady’s AI reads it and extracts evidence at skill level: which marks were lost, and to what, exactly.
-
Each student’s queue re-tunes itself
Their daily fifteen minutes starts hitting the skills you just marked, on a spaced-repetition schedule. Your Tuesday explanation gets practised on Wednesday, Friday and Monday — instead of never.
-
Open the dashboard before each session
Per student: what they practised, their comeback count, where they’re stuck, and Dress Rehearsal scores marked out of 40 like a real WA. Walk in knowing — spend the hour teaching, not diagnosing.
-
Each student keeps their own app
Every student gets their own address — name.study.darmadja.com. If they ever leave you, their record goes with them. It’s their math, not your lock-in.
What it is not
Steady doesn’t replace you
It doesn’t explain concepts, and it doesn’t want to — explaining is your job, and you’re better at it. Steady’s job is to make your Tuesday explanation still be there on Friday, and to hand you the evidence of what needs re-teaching. It is the practice between your sessions, not a competitor to them.
The offer
First ten coaches: free
The Coach plan is S$39 a month for up to ten students — about one billed hour. The first ten coaches pay nothing: no card, no clock on it. In return, we’ll ask you once a month what’s missing, and build that.
Two more things. Every paid seat on Steady sponsors a free seat for a student from an MOE FAS household. And your referral counts on its own: if you teach a student whose family can’t add another subscription, refer them and their seat is free.
Ten places. When they’re gone, Coach is S$39 a month.
